Wonderful stay in Cartagena. In the middle of the beautiful old town. Directly at the city wall and the beautiful Cafe del Mar. Rooms very nice, clean, neat. Great breakfast that you can put together yourself. Possibility to rent bicycles. Great rooftop pool. Everything's great.
The roof terrace around the pool has just been renovated. Didn't bother much and just has to be... so not really negative.

Altogether a super hotel for a short stay in Cartagena: nice room, small pool, good location and nice staff. Breakfast was very tasty but could be a bit more sumptuous.

We stayed at Casa Gastelbondo for 6 nights and felt right at home. The staff, especially Jennifer, provided excellent service and helpful recommendations for exploring the city. The modern interior design and rooftop swimming pool were a highlight. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary bikes for guests to use, which was a fun way to get around. a fantastic experience in the heart of Cartagena's Old Town.

Friendliness of the employees. Small hotel, only 5 rooms and therefore very quiet. Good selection for breakfast
A room with a balcony was booked, but the room only had a small area in front of the room that led to the open inner courtyard. Neither was the area separated for other hotel guests, nor were there chairs, this does not correspond to my conception of a balcony.

The house is beautifully furnished, the location within the old town excellent. Breakfast was good.
The pools are tiny, more like paddling pools. Some towels were missing. There were two towels in the room for three people. Despite repeated requests, a third was delivered only on the last day. Nobody spoke English. Many staircases despite alleged disability friendliness. Bikes for hire catastrophic. Air conditioning very loud and extremely draughty.

The hotel is right next to the sea with steps to access the water for swimming and diving. Snorkeling and scuba diving were amazing with an on-site company. Hotel pool is great and the atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Hot water in the showers and plenty of cold beers and wines at a reasonable price. Bikes and scuba diving equipment available for hire.
Felt like relaxing at home, no complaints.

I am not typically a B&B person, but Casa Gastelbondo exceeded my expectations! The small pools were perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring the old city. The rooftop was a delightful spot to relax with a drink. The staff, especially Jamie, were friendly and helpful. Despite its prime location near the city wall, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. The facilities were beautiful and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast options were delicious and varied. this hotel provided excellent value for money and personalized service.
